Born in Seoul and raised in Singapore, Sophie was exposed to plurality of language and cultures. She developed a particular interest in translated literature and studied Comparative Literature and Translation at UCL and University of Oxford. She works now at a scouting assistant at a literary scouting agency. She can never decide on a favourite book but spends her days curating her ever-growing list of things to read. On top stand Lisa Taddeo’s Three Women and Bad Eminence by James Greer. She swears she’ll read these someday.
